I updated the sub-bear.

I've made a major update to the LP for "SubBear," a subscription management web app I'm developing individually.

This update isn't just a design change.

I'm also shifting the service's direction somewhat.

Until now, SubBear has been developed as a typical subscription management app—"register the subscriptions you're contracted to, and manage payment dates and monthly fees."

However, as I continued development, I began to feel a challenge:

"If we're just managing subscriptions, existing budgeting apps and smartphone apps can already do that."

So this time, I've expanded the service's direction with the theme:

"What are people paying for, and how much?"

Specifically, I'm creating a service where engineers and individual developers can publicly share the SaaS and AI tools they're using, and compare them with others.

For example:

• ChatGPT
• Claude
• GitHub Copilot
• Vercel

When you select the services you're paying for, the monthly and annual costs are automatically aggregated.

Furthermore, you can create a public page showcasing your "SaaS Stack."

Other engineers can see information like:

"How much are people spending on AI tools per month?"
"What do backend engineers pay for?"
"Do people actually pay for this service?"

I want to create a place where such information is visible.

Of course, the subscription management features I've built so far remain.

You can still use next payment date management, payment forecasts for 30-90 days ahead, push notifications before renewals, and calendar integration.

In other words:

"Not just managing your own subscriptions, but
also looking at other people's spending patterns to reconsider your own fixed costs"

—that's the direction I'm taking the service.

I completely rebuilt the LP this time so that this direction comes across from the start.

Since the service is still in individual development, I plan to continue adjusting features and direction based on actual usage patterns.

個人開発しているサブスク管理Webアプリ「サブベア」のLPを大きく更新しました。

今回の更新は、単にデザインを変えただけではありません。

サービス自体の方向性も少し変えています。

これまでのサブベアは、「自分が契約しているサブスクを登録して、支払日や月額料金を管理する」という、いわゆるサブスク管理アプリとして開発していました。

ただ、開発を続ける中で、

「サブスクを管理するだけなら、既存の家計簿アプリやスマホアプリでもできる」

という課題を感じるようになりました。

そこで今回、

「みんな、何にいくら払ってる？」

をテーマに、特にエンジニアや個人開発者が使っているSaaS・AIツールを公開して、他の人と比較できるサービスへ方向性を広げました。

たとえば、

• ChatGPT
• Claude
• GitHub Copilot
• Vercel

など、自分が課金しているサービスを選択すると、月額・年額を自動で集計できます。

さらに、自分の「SaaS Stack」として公開ページを作成できます。

他のエンジニアが、

「AIツールに月いくら使っているのか」
「バックエンドエンジニアは何に課金しているのか」
「このサービス、本当にみんなお金を払って使っているのか」

といった情報を見られる場所にしていきたいと考えています。

もちろん、これまで作ってきたサブスク管理機能も残しています。

次回支払日の管理、30〜90日先までの支払い見込み、更新前のプッシュ通知、カレンダー連携などは引き続き利用できます。

つまり、

「自分のサブスクを管理する」だけではなく、
「他の人の課金状況を見て、自分の固定費を考える」

ところまで扱うサービスにしていく方針です。

今回LPも、この方向性が最初に伝わるよう全面的に作り直しました。

まだ個人開発中のサービスなので、今後も実際の利用状況を見ながら機能や方向性は調整していく予定です。

エンジニアの方で、

「ChatGPTとClaude、両方払ってる」
「AIツールだけで毎月かなり使っている」
「他のエンジニアが何に課金しているかちょっと気になる」
