When registering an annual subscription, it's annoying to manually divide by 12. With SubBear, you can enter the "annual amount" as-is. The app automatically converts annual payments and foreign tools in other currencies to "monthly cost," so you can instantly see your real monthly fixed expenses.
It's too late to realize after seeing your credit card statement. I focused the UI on showing your next payment dates (in ◯ days) in a list, so you can decide whether to keep each service before the next charge comes.
The name is a coined term combining "Subscription" and "Pare (to pare down)." Initially "SubPare" was considered, but "SubBear (bear)" felt more memorable and easier to develop affection for as a character (I was also seeing a lot of bear news during the naming period). The name embodies my desire to provide an experience of reviewing unused subscriptions and gradually paring away unnecessary expenses.

クレジットカードの明細を見てから思い出すのでは手遅れです。次の支払いが来る前に「本当にこのサービスを続けるか？」を考えられるよう、次回の支払い予定日（あと◯日）を一覧で確認できるUIにこだわりました。
名前の由来は「Subscription」と「Pare（削ぎ落とす）」を組み合わせた造語です。当初は「サブペア」という案もありましたが、「サブベア（クマ）」のほうが響きが覚えやすく、キャラクターとして愛着が湧きやすいと思い採用しました（名前を考えていた時期にクマのニュースをよく目にしたのも理由です）。使っていないサブスクを見直し、余分な支出を少しずつ削ぎ落とす体験を提供したいという思いを込めています。
