Tabwell 1.1 リカバリー世代を公開しました

I'm Danila Pryadko, developing Tabwell. A Chrome work environment is not just a list of URLs. Only when the window boundaries, tab order, pinned tabs, active tabs, and native group names, colors, and collapsed states are all together can the original context be restored.

In version 1.1.0, we introduced restoration of multiple windows as a single verified bundle, a persistent local recovery journal, Gentle Restore that can continue after restart, Save & close that closes original tabs only after save confirmation, and Replace current that leaves a rollback path.

The currently released 1.1.1 is a hardening version that addresses correctness and usability issues found in external testing. We improved receipts that distinguish normal shutdown from crashes, loading operations in collapsed groups, rollback that re-confirms operation ownership, handling of URL drift, selection of entire windows, and feedback during saving.

Session data is stored on-device in principle, and neither a Tabwell account nor broad website access permissions are required. JSON backup is also supported. Note that Stop in Gentle Restore ends processing adjustments, but without persistent proof of ownership, it does not automatically close already-created placeholder tabs.

Tabwell を開発している Danila Pryadko です。Chrome の作業環境は URL の一覧だけではありません。ウィンドウの境界、タブの順番、固定タブ、アクティブなタブ、ネイティブグループの名前・色・折りたたみ状態までそろって初めて、元の文脈を復元できます。

1.1.0 では、複数ウィンドウを一つの検証済みバンドルとして扱う復元、永続的なローカル復旧ジャーナル、再起動後も続行できる Gentle Restore、保存確認後にだけ元タブを閉じる Save & close、ロールバック経路を残す Replace current を導入しました。

現在公開中の 1.1.1 は、外部テストで見つかった正しさと使いやすさの問題を詰めたハードニング版です。通常終了とクラッシュを区別するレシート、折りたたみグループでの読み込み操作、operation 所有権を再確認する rollback、URL drift の扱い、ウィンドウ全体の選択、保存中のフィードバックを改善しました。

セッションデータは原則として端末内に保存され、Tabwell アカウントも広範な Web サイトアクセス権限も不要です。JSON バックアップにも対応しています。なお、Gentle Restore の Stop は処理の調整を終了しますが、永続的な所有証明がないため、すでに作成済みの placeholder tab を自動では閉じません。
