GmailOS notification

This is a Python script for Windows that sends OS notifications when emails arrive at a registered email address.

It uses Gmail's app password feature. We don't know when it will end. If it does end, this tool may no longer be usable unless there are specific changes. Please use an account that has already completed two-factor authentication.

Steps to Obtain Gmail App Password

1. Open 管理画面 in your Google account.
2. In the search bar at the top of the screen (or the settings search box), type "app password" and search.
3. Select "App password" from the search results (follow the on-screen instructions to re-authenticate).
4. Enter an arbitrary app name (example: Gmail Notifier) and click "Create".
5. Record the 16-digit generated password displayed on the screen.

The 16-digit password is displayed only once. Make sure to copy it carefully. Additionally, configuration of a .env file is required to register the password and email address (refer to sample.env as it is available). The contents of the .env file, including the password, must never be disclosed to the outside and should be managed strictly by yourself.
