I enjoy creating illustrations using image generation AI like PixAI.
However, since I'm not good at English, I had to look up necessary words each time or have AI create them for me. But with this method, whenever I wanted to make fine adjustments like "I'd like to change the expression a bit more" or "I'd like to adjust just the clothing slightly," I had to give new instructions to the AI, which took more time than expected.
Furthermore, because I repeated the cycle of generating an image, checking it, asking AI for corrections, and generating again multiple times, I consumed a lot of PixAI credits.
"Wouldn't it be more convenient if I could just select words in Japanese and assemble the necessary prompt?"
This idea led to the birth of PromptTile.
The development of PromptTile started with an Android app. I began creating it as a tool for my own daily use, but then thought, "Wouldn't it be even more convenient if I could use it on PC as well?" and ported it as a Web version based on the Android version.
In development, I continue to add and improve features little by little while utilizing AI like Claude and Gemini, working alone. I repeatedly try and refine things, thinking "I want to make this more user-friendly" and "Couldn't this operation be explained more clearly?" while actually using the tool myself.
There are still many words and features I want to add, and many points I want to improve, but I plan to continue updating with the goal of creating "a prompt management tool that I myself want to keep using."
What I focused on most in PromptTile was "being able to create prompts without getting confused, even if you don't understand English."
I designed the interface with the intention that you could simply select categories in order from the top, and the prompt would gradually be completed. The goal is to be able to get closer to your image by selecting Japanese words, without having to input English tags from scratch or have AI create prompts for you every time.
Currently, I continue to review categories, add words, and improve the UI, and the app is still in development. I believe there are many improvements and ideas that I myself cannot notice by actually having people use it.
If you have any feedback like "This is difficult to use" or "This feature would be convenient," I would be very happy to receive it. I want to nurture PromptTile into an even more user-friendly tool while referring to the feedback I receive.

そんな発想から、PromptTileのアイデアが生まれました。
PromptTileの開発は、Androidアプリから始まりました。自分が普段使うためのツールとして作り始めましたが、「PCでも使えたらもっと便利なのでは」と考え、Android版をベースにWeb版として移植しました。
開発ではClaudeやGeminiなどのAIを活用しながら、一人で少しずつ機能の追加や改善を続けています。アイデアを形にし、実際に自分で使いながら「もっと使いやすくしたい」「この操作はもっと分かりやすくできるのではないか」と試行錯誤を繰り返しています。
まだ追加したい単語や機能、改善したい点はたくさんありますが、自分自身が「使い続けたいと思えるプロンプト管理ツール」を目指して、これからもアップデートを続けていく予定です。
PromptTileで一番こだわったのは、「英語が分からなくても、できるだけ迷わずプロンプトを作れること」です。
カテゴリを上から順番に選んでいくだけで、少しずつプロンプトが完成していくような操作性を意識して設計しました。英語のタグを一から入力したり、毎回AIにプロンプトを作ってもらったりしなくても、日本語の単語を選びながら自分のイメージに近づけていけることを目指しています。
現在もカテゴリの見直しや単語の追加、UIの改善などを続けており、まだまだ発展途中のアプリです。実際に使っていただくことで、自分では気付けない改善点やアイデアもたくさんあると思います。
「ここが使いづらい」「こんな機能があったら便利」といったご意見がありましたら、ぜひフィードバックをいただけるとうれしいです。いただいたご意見を参考にしながら、より使いやすいPromptTileへと育てていきたいと思っています。
