I work as a freelance systems engineer, and I develop web apps and business systems using AI on my own.
What I'm creating is not just a demo that displays screens.
I develop with awareness of making things actually operable, solving the problems of the people who use them, and being able to operate them as a service in the future.
I often come up with app ideas from inconveniences I've felt in my work, hobbies, and store management.
While working as a systems engineer, I also operate a relaxation salon in Kawasaki.
Running a store involves various tasks such as customer management, reservation management, sales management, and information sharing with staff.
Even in my hobby of darts, hosting a tournament requires many tasks such as participant registration, pair matching, preliminary round pairings, ranking calculations, and creating finals brackets.
In these situations, I felt:
Couldn't this be done more easily?
Couldn't this be automated with an app?
These questions became the starting point for my development.
Currently, I'm focusing particularly on the darts tournament management app "House Darts Tournament."
This app has the following features:
- Participant entry using QR codes
- Participant management
- Doubles pair matching
- Round-robin preliminary round creation
- Match results and ranking management
- Finals bracket creation
- Champion board display
The goal is to consolidate the work that tournament organizers do into one place as much as possible, making it easier to run tournaments with fewer people.

House Darts Tournament
In addition to House Darts Tournament, I'm developing various web apps.
Things I've created so far include:
- Customer management system
- Inventory management system
- Invoice and quotation creation tool
- AI meeting minutes creation app
- AI email reply assistant
- AI sales analysis tool
- Official app for the relaxation salon
For business systems, I'm conscious not just of appearance, but of features necessary in actual operations such as authentication, data storage, search, filtering, registration, editing, and deletion.

I use AI such as ChatGPT, Codex, and Claude Code in my development.
I have AI help me not just with writing programs, but also with the following tasks:
- Organizing ideas
- Identifying necessary features
- Designing screen layouts
- Database design
- Investigating error causes
- Improving UI/UX
- Creating test items
- Writing introductions and operation instructions
However, giving AI instructions once doesn't automatically result in a highly polished app.
I need to organize who will use it, what problems it will solve, and how far to develop features, then repeatedly make corrections while actually operating it.
AI is less of a replacement for developers and more like a development partner who works through design, implementation, and verification together.
What I learned after starting to make apps is that completion is not the goal.
No matter how convenient features I create, if people don't know about them, the app won't be used.
Currently, to get House Darts Tournament actually used in stores, I'm also working on outreach to dart shops and creating tutorial videos to explain how to use it.
Beyond just development, I consider the following as part of individual development:
- Who to reach
- How to communicate
- Whether people will actually use it
- How to turn user feedback into improvements
Going forward, I plan to continue creating business systems that can be used in stores and companies, tools that leverage AI, and apps that solve challenges in hobbies and daily life.
I will also record not just completion reports of apps, but also my thoughts during development, how to instruct AI, things that failed, and reactions after release as articles.
Rather than finishing after creation, I will continue developing with the goal of creating services that are actually used and gradually improved.
