I thought it would be nice to have an app where I could enjoy my own music in my own way, more simply.
With Levyra, we aim to provide an experience that combines local music, offline playback, playlists, lyrics, radio, and music discovery in a single app, while avoiding dependence on mandatory accounts, ads, and behavioral tracking.
Rather than just using existing apps, designing it myself and gradually improving it has been one of the enjoyable aspects.
It started as a small personal project, but as I added features, improved the UI, and fixed bugs, Levyra became a major project for me.
I continue to develop it openly on GitHub.
Rather than just adding more features, I focus on the daily-use aspects: screen readability, ease of operation, smooth scrolling and playback, and so on.
Additionally, Levyra is released as open-source software under the GPL-3.0 license. You can check the source code and development history, and we welcome feedback from users.
I plan to continue gradually improving it on both Android and Windows.

Levyraでは、ローカル音楽、オフライン再生、プレイリスト、歌詞、ラジオ、音楽発見などをひとつのアプリで使えるようにしながら、必須アカウントや広告、行動トラッキングに依存しない体験を目指しています。
既存のアプリを使うだけではなく、自分で設計して、少しずつ改善していくこと自体も楽しみのひとつでした。
最初は小さな個人プロジェクトでしたが、機能を追加し、UIを改善し、バグを直していくうちに、Levyraは自分にとって大きなプロジェクトになりました。
現在もGitHub上でオープンに開発を続けています。
機能を増やすだけではなく、画面の見やすさ、操作の分かりやすさ、スクロールや再生のスムーズさなど、毎日使う部分を大切にしています。
また、LevyraはGPL-3.0のオープンソースとして公開しています。ソースコードや開発履歴を確認でき、ユーザーからのフィードバックも歓迎しています。
AndroidとWindowsの両方で、これからも少しずつ改善していく予定です。
