That said, the industry is quite analog, so there may be people doing even more troublesome things. With Paint, once you mask something, you can't move the parts around. I imagine there are people doing more primitive methods like printing the screen, blacking it out with a marker, scanning it, and so on.

What I Focused On

I designed it with PDF conversion in mind, allowing users to add and delete pages, change orientation, move parts, resize them, and add or delete them.

I used the character "Maskin-chan" to make it more approachable. As a sister series to the separate app "PDF-chan," the character guides users through the operations.

解決したかったこと

マスキング資料作成を楽にしたかったのです。

なぜ作ろうと思ったか

これまで

資料をスクショ→PowerPointへ貼付→図形でマスキング→PDFにエクスポート→PDF分割

という作業をしていて地味にしんどかったのです。

いや、業界的には割とアナログな世界なのでもっと面倒なことをしているのかもしれません。ペイントだと１回マスキングするとパーツ動かしたりできないし。もっと原始的な方法で画面を印刷、マジックで塗りつぶす、スキャンする、とかやってる人普通にいそうです。

こだわったところ

PDF化することを前提に、ページの追加削除、縦横、パーツを動かしたり拡大縮小、追加削除出来るようにしました。

キャラクター「ますきんちゃん」で親しみやすさを。別アプリ「PDFちゃん」の姉妹シリーズとして操作を案内してくれます。
