Penguin Control Center (PCC) — Manage Linux CLI through GUI while learning

Penguin Control Center (PCC) is an open-source Electron-based application that allows you to safely operate Linux administration CLI tools (systemd services, ufw, fail2ban, nginx, Docker, PostgreSQL, Tailscale, etc.) from a GUI while learning the underlying CLI commands being executed.

• Every button press displays the corresponding CLI command alongside (serving as a bridge between GUI and CLI)
• 23 official plugins (chrony/OpenSSH/Docker/Nginx/PostgreSQL/Redis/Tailscale and others), one-click installation from the plugin store
• Configuration file diff display, automatic backup, and Undo functionality
• Command execution always uses execFile with array arguments without constructing shell strings; privileged operations go through pkexec with pre-execution confirmation dialogs, prioritizing security
• Supports beginner/advanced mode switching, CLI execution history, and dashboard display

The main application is GPL-3.0 licensed, and official plugins are MIT licensed OSS. If there is software you'd like supported, you can propose it via GitHub Issues, and community-proposed plugins are merged after review.
