AI Sales Analysis

Overview

A business support web application that reads sales CSV/Excel in the browser and interprets deterministically calculated business metrics using AI. Rather than delegating data aggregation to AI, it enables an analytical experience where users can verify the basis and make decisions before judgment.

Main Features

• Data Import and Quality Verification

- Read CSV / XLSX in-browser (with BOM, quotation marks, line breaks in cells, and Shift_JIS fallback support)
- Automatically infer columns such as date, sales, quantity, product, customer, sales representative, and store
- Mapping workflow where users confirm column correspondence
- Quality checks for blank cells, duplicates, invalid values, and outliers

• Business Metrics Calculation and Analysis

- Automatically calculate sales, month-over-month comparison, year-over-year comparison, transaction count, average unit price, customer count, etc.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly trend analysis; analysis by product, category, customer, and store
- Detect anomaly candidates in sales spikes/drops and unit prices using Median / MAD

• AI Business Summary and Q&A

- AI interprets calculated business metrics and generates business summaries
- Answer data-driven questions through natural language Q&A
- Display the basis (period, values, comparison values) for all answers

• What-if Analysis and Monthly Reports

- Scenario analysis based on formulas with input conditions for customer unit price, transaction count, and product sales
- Generate monthly business reports and output as A4 PDF

Design Characteristics

• AI Does Not Calculate: KPIs, comparisons, and rankings are deterministically calculated in TypeScript. AI focuses on interpreting pre-calculated facts
• Human Verification is Mandatory: After automatic inference, users confirm column correspondence. The basis of AI answers can be re-verified
• Privacy Protection: Raw data is processed in-browser. Only aggregated facts are sent to external AI. Raw transaction details, customer names, and file names are not sent
• Verifiable Without API Keys: All features can be tested without external communication using the demo provider
