An Android app that lets you chat with nearby people even in places where mobile signals don't reach and there's no Wi-Fi.

Your smartphone and someone nearby's smartphone connect directly via Bluetooth, and for distant people, the smartphones of those in between relay messages in a "bucket brigade" fashion.
