Overview

A player that extracts only singing sections from VTuber YouTube singing stream archives and lets you enjoy them like a music app

This is a fan-made web application that solves fan concerns such as "I want to listen to only my favorite songs from archives that span several hours" and "I want to listen to songs across multiple singing streams as background music for work," making it easier to enjoy your favorite VTuber's singing voice.

💡 Development Background

One of the appealing aspects of VTuber content is "singing stream broadcasts." However, searching for and listening to specific songs from archives that span several hours, or listening to songs from different broadcasts in succession, is time-consuming. This app was developed from the desire to "listen to singing streams more easily, with the feel of a music app."

✨ Main Features

1. Seamless Continuous Playback

Based on registered timestamps (singing sections), the YouTube embedded player is controlled to automatically play continuously from song to song.

2. Batch Timestamp Registration (Import Feature)

In addition to manual song registration, timestamp data created by fan volunteers can be easily batch imported from CSV or Google Sheets.

3. Playlists & Favorites

You can save your favorite songs and create your own playlists, intuitively rearranging the song order with drag and drop.

4. Smart Auto-Play (Radio Feature)

As the currently playing song plays, related songs and cover songs by other VTubers are automatically added to the queue, allowing music to play continuously without interruption. Personalization settings are also available to choose whether to include covers from other channels.

5. Stress-Free UX Design

• Automatic Privacy Mode Switching: Avoids playback interruption due to simultaneous viewing restrictions.
• Detection of Embed-Disabled Videos: Automatically detects videos with external embedding disabled at registration time, preventing errors before they occur.
• Multi-language Support: Supports switching between Japanese and English display.
• Theme Switching: Supports dark mode / light mode.
