# Audio Output Shifter
A desktop application that resides in the Windows taskbar and switches the default playback device (speakers, headsets, etc.) "at lightning speed and intuitively."
- Lightning-fast cyclic switching with a double-click
- Simply double-click (click-click) the taskbar icon, and pre-configured playback devices switch in sequence. No need to open a menu and select again.
- Dynamic icon that shows the current output destination at a glance
- For each device, you can freely set "up to 2 characters of text" or "emoji," as well as a "background color."
- Just by looking at the taskbar, you can instantly see where the current audio output is going.
- Built-in intuitive emoji picker
- You can easily select audio-related emojis such as 🎧 (headphones) or 🔊 (speaker) and set them as the icon.
- Supports startup launch
- Enable automatic execution at Windows startup with a single click.
- Excellent operational stability
- Even during sleep recovery or temporary device disconnection/removal, the application automatically performs internal retries and reconfiguration (MMDeviceEnumerator regeneration), ensuring stable continuous operation over the long term.
- OS: Windows 10 / Windows 11 (64-bit recommended)
