Preterview

Preterview is a mock interview service featuring three AI interviewers conducting voice-based interviews.

Each interviewer has a specialized focus area, asking questions from three directions: portfolio, job fit, and fundamentals. All three interviewers have reviewed your portfolio and job posting in advance, so the questions are tailored to your specific background rather than generic interview Q&As. When answers are shallow, they dig deeper on the spot rather than moving to the next question.

After the interview, you receive a report scored out of 100 points. It records feedback for each answer, examples of how to rewrite your actual spoken responses more powerfully, the number of filler words (like "um" and "uh"), and the number of seconds before you start speaking.

There is also a portfolio diagnostic. It reads URLs from GitHub, Notion, and websites, evaluating the actual deliverables themselves rather than bullet points on a resume. When you register, you can try it once for free (no card registration required).

Pricing is pay-as-you-go. A $6.99 pack includes one full interview with a 90-day validity period, and unused portions can be refunded in full within 7 days. There is no subscription option.

Supported languages are English and Korean. Japanese interviews are not supported, so the specialized use case is "English interview practice" for foreign company job transitions and overseas employment. The accuracy is highest for software and game development positions, where questions have been verified based on actual interviews in these fields.
