Question Video Maker is a free tool that lets you create 15-30 second vertical videos (MP4) using only a browser by simply entering a "question" and "character's answer."

You can create short videos where characters answer questions—such as TRPG investigator introduction videos, original character (OC) introductions, pre-session meet-and-greets, or post-scenario remarks—without needing video editing software. When you add icon images or character sprites, the speaking character lights up or bounces, making it feel like the character is really there. The finished video can be posted directly to X or Instagram.

What You Can Do

Four formats. "Pon" (speech bubbles appear in sequence, 1:1), "Yoru" (one person zooms in large at a time, 9:16), "Telop" (question on top, answer stacked below, 16:9), "Narabu" (everyone lined up with only the speaker highlighted, 4:5). A recommended format is suggested based on the number of people.

Emotion. The tool reads emotion from the answer text, and the speech bubble shape, manga symbols, and bounce motion change accordingly. Emotion switches at each "。" or "、" punctuation mark, and listeners react in sympathy. You can also select emotions manually.

Icons and character sprites. You can add icon images and character sprites for each person. Sprites can be adjusted to full-body, bust-up, or close-up of the face, and can be swapped with different expressions at each punctuation break.

How the question is displayed. Five fonts: Ming, Gothic, wide spacing, marker, and vertical writing; and six display effects: soft, one character at a time, from the side, floating, scattered, and wipe.

Background color and sound. Background colors in paper or dark tones, and sound options of silent, quiet, or lively. Sound is included in the exported video.

Credits. You can add the PL name or the name of the person who drew the character sprite in small text at the end of the video.

Drawing a question. When you need more prompts, you can draw from the same 280 questions as the Question Card on the spot.
