When you select a train, the highlights between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka are displayed with "what time and which side of the window in the direction of travel they appear."

What it can do

• Display passage times for 39 spots including Mt. Fuji for each train (based on actual GPS coordinates taken while riding)
• Clearly specify whether to sit on the E-seat side or A-seat side for all spots
• Predict whether Mt. Fuji will be visible based on weather (cloud cover at 5 points along the route retrieved from Open-Meteo)
• Live map during the ride. Alerts with a countdown as you approach
• A stamp is stamped when you pass. Station stamp designs are created in SVG
• Also includes apps like viewing the train window scenery as ink paintings
• Guides available in Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, French, and Arabic

Technical aspects
A vanilla JS static site without frameworks, a PWA with Service Worker.
Maps use Leaflet + OpenStreetMap, weather from Open-Meteo.
The Android version is in closed testing with Capacitor.
