Koko Oru is an app that gently watches over the daily lives of family members living apart.

All the person needs to do is press a button at the same time every day. That "I'm here!" becomes peace of mind for family members far away. If the button isn't pressed for several days in a row, registered family members are automatically notified via LINE or email. Without having to keep making phone calls, the usual "I'm fine" gets through.

Daily phone calls require a bit of consideration from both sides. But with just one button, it's something you can keep up with. Koko Oru is that kind of "loose watching over" approach.
