Detect the noise around you like radar — a real-time decibel and sound meter.
This one started from a simple question: how loud is it, really? Noise Radar is a decibel meter that draws the sound around you on a military-radar style CRT screen. I'm DKsequence, a solo developer, and I built it as a small tool for noisy apartments and workshops.
Audio is analyzed on your device only to show an estimated dB level and one of ten noise grades, from library and conversation up to traffic, subway and factory. Anything over 85 dB shows up as a blip on the scope with an alert sound and vibration.
When you stop, the session is saved with a full graph, and the report lists live, minimum, average (Leq) and maximum dB together with how many loud events were detected. Because every phone's microphone differs, there is a ±15 dB calibration offset. Sound is never recorded or uploaded.
It is a reference-grade meter, not a certified instrument, so it is not valid for legal use.
